Hi, I’m Ainsley Clark, I’m a 3D artist specializing in hard surface and prop modeling for games, focusing mainly in realism. I’ve spent the last few years building out sets and interiors, focusing on small details, cohesion, and atmosphere. From everyday items to fantasy props, I enjoy modeling assets that immerse their viewers. I have a great deal of experience using Maya as my main tool, with additional familiarity in Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 5. I’m aspiring to work on projects with bigger teams and larger worlds.

I enjoy working in a team, and helping people’s projects come to life! My favorite aspect of 3D modeling is making detailed, high poly models. Though as a challenge I love optimizing my own and other’s models through low polys. While I have more ease making hard surface models, the occasional organic model is always an interesting challenge!

Graduating from Lindbergh Senior Highschool in 2020, and starting college later that same year was quite challenging in the Covid pandemic, but greatly increased my software literacy thanks to the amount of online work. I am usually more hesitant and reserved, unlike my incredibly sociable dog, Luna, but I quickly open up and adjust to new projects and people! I have been interested in art my entire life, but was always told by teachers that it wasn’t financially viable as a career, until my incredible highschool art teacher convinced us all otherwise. While I initially studied interior design in college, I quickly learned my real passion was 3D modeling, and couldn’t be more grateful to the incredible support from my family and my professors I’ve had along my journey. I hope to be equally as grateful to have met you too!
